Job Description

  • Responsible for all paper Official Personnel Folders (OPF) be moved to the internet based electronic OPF (eOPF) system.
  • Responsible for completing the backlog of records (approximately 2K files with approximately 50 - 200 pages per file) as well as loose papers that need to be assessed, scanned, indexed, and dispositioned appropriately based on the status of each employee (separated versus active).
  • Responsible for organizing records, and manifesting, dispositioning, and sending boxes to be scanned at a remote location.
  • For active employees, validate the scanning, and disposition those records to National Personnel Records Center (NPRC).
  • Disposition hard copy records of separated and retired employees to NPRC without scanning those records; scan loose documents required in OPFs as required by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) guidance.
Job Requirements
  • Basic knowledge of Federal Human Resource (HR) terminology, operations, procedures, and requirements.
  • Must have experience reviewing and auditing Electronic Personnel Folder(eOPF).
  • Requires one (1) year of basic administrative or HR experience or two (2) years of education from an accredited institution beyond high school.
  • Experience with automated HR systems is not required; however, experience using word processing software, spreadsheet applications, and other general administrative technologies is required.
  • Minimum Education HS/GED and one (1) year education from an accredited institution.
