In this unique role, you'll gain valuable experience in both the user support world and the world of software quality assurance (QA). We offer an exciting opportunity to develop your technical skills and contribute to innovative IT consulting projects for our Federal Government clients.Job Description:As a Junior Business Analyst, you'll play a dual role, providing both user support and software testing expertise. You'll collaborate with experienced professionals to learn the ropes of both areas, gaining a well-rounded understanding of the IT lifecycle.This is a HYBRID position that is located in Arlington, VA.Responsib ilities include, but are not limited to:Help Desk Support:Provide first-line technical support to our clients, troubleshooting user issues and resolving problems efficientlyDocument support interactions and escalate complex issues to the appropriate technical resourcesStay up-to-date on the latest software and hardware functionalities to provide effective user assistanceSoftware Quality Assurance (QA):Assist senior QA analysts in developing and executing test plans to ensure software functionality meets user requirementsConduct thorough testing of software applications, identifying bugs and defectsDocument test results and collaborate with developers to resolve identified issuesBusiness Analysis Support:Assist with requirements gathering and analysis tasks for IT projectsHelp create user documentation and training materialsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field1+ years of experience in a technical support or customer service environment (or equivalent)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skillsA willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environmentPreferred Qualifications:Basic understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile)Experience with testing tools and methodologiesSecurity Clearance Requirements:US citizenship with the ability to obtain a Public TrustAbility to obtain a DOD Secret level clearanceWe Offer:The opportunity to gain valuable experience in both help desk support and software quality assuranceA collaborative and supportive work environment where you can develop your technical skillsCompetitive salary and benefits packageThe chance to be part of a team that is delivering innovative solutions to critical government challengesIf you are an early-career professional with a passion for technology and a desire to learn, we encourage you to apply!For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.
