**Position:** Sales Assistant **Location:** Hanover, MD **Description:** Braxton-Grant Technologies is seeking a highly energetic individual to assist our Sales team with generating and submitting cybersecurity and information technology (IT) products and solutions price quotes for submission to our Federal, State and Local agencies, and commercial clients. * Locate and secure pricing for the right products or services in response to client solicitations.

* Quote Bill of Materials (BOM) and ensure that appropriate pricing is reflected in all quotes.

* Quote to customer specifications and needs.

* Maintain accounts by providing customer service on orders.

* Other maintenance tasks include: tracking shipments, maintaining orders, managing backlog, expediting orders and trouble-shooting.

* Providing after-sales service by ensuring the products arrival at the customer location in a timely fashion.

* Communicate with vendors and customers in a professional and timely manner

* Develop and maintain excellent vendor and client relationships.

* Acquire and maintain technical knowledge base on new and existing cybersecurity, networking, and other IT products.

* Promote Braxton-Grants Products and Services.

* Work effectively with or without supervision

* Act as liaison between customers and internal departments to ensure smooth delivery of products and services

* Other business duties as assigned

**Education and Experience:** Typically requires a 2-year degree and 24 years of experience or High school graduate with equivalent related experience. * Pricing/Quoting experience

* Sales Support experience

* Clear understanding of sales methodologies of prospecting and pipelining

* Customer Service experience

* Material Purchasing experience

* Task disciplined/self-motivated

* Excellent prioritization and time management skills

* Ability to multitask and change gears quickly

* Excellent attention to detail

* Ability to follow through

* Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships via phone and email

* Ability to effectively communicate with management and co-workers

* Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills Formulas, Pivot tables, vlookups

* Ability to represent Braxton-Grant in a professional manner

* IT Components background preferred

* Previous Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and/or Value-Added Reseller (VAR) community experience preferred.

* Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools experience preferred

* Distribution and or fulfillment experience preferred

* Experience in a customer facing position nice to have

* Experience in a supplier facing position nice to have
