Position Type: Full-Time
Work Site: Patuxent River, MD
Work Location: Remote (see COVID-19 procedures below)

**COVID-19 Procedures: On-boarding will require 1-2 visits to Patuxent River, MD. Training will be virtual and telework maximized/permitted to the greatest extent possible, however training/tasking may require on-site work a few hours per week. Occasional evening/weekend on-site support for upgrades/patching is required. Future on-site/telework requirements/schedules may change as additional client direction is received.

Essential Functions:

  • Compiles, formats, edits, and maintains technical documentation and user guides in support of software applications/programs.
  • Gathers, analyzes, and composes technical information.
  • Translates technical information into clear readable documents.
  • Assists in the executing of month-end and year-end processes by executing SQL scripts/files.
  • Assists with analyzing and troubleshooting software application problems/issues.
  • Creates new user accounts and troubleshoots user account issues.
  • Other duties as assigned or required.


Qualifications and Experience:


Required:

  • 1 year of experience providing technical documentation support.
  • Experience creating and updating documents in MS Word
  • Education/Experience: BS/BA OR AA/AS degree and 1-year related experience OR HS and 2 years related experience.


Desired:

  • 1 year of experience providing software customer support highly desired.
  • Experience with technical customer support ticketing systems desired.
  • Experience with SQL desired.


Security Clearance:
Active Secret clearance required. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.


Education:
BS/BA OR AA/AS degree and 1-year related experience OR HS and 2 years related experience.
