REMOTE FOR CANDIDATES LOCATED IN VA, MD, DE, or PADescription:Actalent is looking for a candidate to fill an Electrical Engineering position at one of our clients. This candidate will be a member of their multi-disciplinary MEP team and will work under the direction of an experienced project leader with a professional engineering license.Projects will include new construction and renovation for both public and private sectors.This candidate must be able to take a project from start to finish independently as they will be the only one on the team doing this type of work.The candidate will also be responsible for performing field investigations to determine existing conditions.Design all aspects of electrical engineering projects, including (but not limited to) Sr living, government and office spaces.Develop bid and permit drawings and specifications. Interpret and apply all applicable federal, state and/or local codes.Respond to contractor RFIs and review construction submittals.Occasionally travel to project/client sites (1-2 a month) to complete tasks or attend meetings.Skills & Qualifications:3+ years experience in the electrical design MEP industry.Electrical Engineering degree.EIT/FE Exam passed required.Must be proficient in Revit.Experience doing lighting calculations.Experience working with clients.Project management and Construction Administration experience is preferred.LEED accreditation a plus.Medium voltage design experience is a plus.Benefits:MedicalDentalVision401kABOUT ACTALENTActalent connects passion with purpose.
