Senior Program Manager - DOE (Remote)

We are actively seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead a team for a major environmental clean-up program. This full-time position requires proven experience in managing large-scale programs and teams. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of program engagement, including planning, vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, risk management, and alignment with client objectives .

Work Description:

T he Senior Program Manager must excel in communication, collaborating with diverse teams across locations and provide leadership to motivate team members and achieve project milestones.

Responsibilities:

+ Lead a team of engineers, scientists, and analysts for a major environmental clean-up program.

+ Manage all aspects of program engagement, including planning, subcontract and external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks, and issues.

+ Perform internal quality control reviews to ensure projects meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.

+ Ensure the program is aligned with and supports the achievement of client objectives.

+ Develop and track schedules using critical path method software.

+ Demonstrate a professional commitment to excellence and customer service.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Bachelors degree in Engineering, environmental, science or other technical degree

+ 15 years of professional experience including 5 years in program management

+ Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

+ Ability to obtain a Q clearance (Equivalent to DOD Top Secret)

+ Experience working within the federal government sector

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Advanced degree in engineering, environmental, science, business, or another relevant field

+ Experience working with the U.S. Department of Energy

+ Active Top Secret or Q clearance

+ Recognized technical certifications such as Registered Professional Engineer (PE), Program Management Professional (PMP), Certified Risk Manager (CRM), etc.
