Responsibilities:
Audit resident records, care plans, and documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
Collaborate with clinical staff to identify areas for improvement and provide guidance on best practices in resident care.
Conduct assessments of staff competency and provide education and training as needed to maintain high-quality care.
Develop, implement, and monitor quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident outcomes and safety.
Participate in the development and revision of policies, procedures, and protocols in line with industry standards and regulations.
Investigate incidents, report findings, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
Stay up-to-date with changes in healthcare regulations and standards, and ensure that the organization remains compliant.
Participate in the development and delivery of quality assurance training programs for staff.
Qualifications:
Long Term Care experience Required
Experience in quality assurance, performance improvement preferred
Strong knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations and standards.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
Proficiency in computer skills, including data analysis and reporting tools.
License:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
