Project Manager - Infrastructure Services (IS) Support
Location: Washington, DC, Stafford, VA, or Charleston, SC

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to provide support to the Infrastructure Services (IS) within a PEO supporting the Navy/Marine Corps. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing information technology-related infrastructure projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the performance requirements of our government clients. The ideal candidate will have experience with the Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) lifecycle, as well as a strong background in planning, scheduling, coordinating, and delivering IT projects. Additionally, the candidate should possess the ability to develop program baselines, identify program risks, and have knowledge of technical concepts and best practices to develop client solutions.
This position meets onsite 2-3 days a week (Hybrid) and requires an Active Secret Clearance.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field. PMP certification preferred.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, in a government contracting environment.
  • Proven experience in providing project management support to infrastructure services.
  • Familiarity with the Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) lifecycle and IT operations.
  • Experience in planning, scheduling, coordinating, and delivering IT projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop program baselines and identify program risks.
  • Knowledge of technical concepts, best practices, and the ability to develop client solutions.
  • Ability to anticipate, mitigate, and resolve risks and conflicts across workstreams.
Skills:
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage projects from cradle-to-grave, including cost, schedule, and performance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Experience with both traditional project management and Agile methodology.
  • Previous experience with ServiceNow is a bonus.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide project management support to Infrastructure Services (IS) projects within the PEO.
  • Manage information technology-related infrastructure projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
  • Develop program baselines and identify program risks, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Support the development of statements of objectives (SOO) to meet Government requirements.
  • Review vendor proposals within infrastructure services project areas.
  • Report on project metrics to clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and performance.
  • Work as part of a cross-functional team to deliver infrastructure solutions, collaborating with stakeholders and team members to achieve project goals.
