Job description

Title: Quality Assurance Analyst(UAT)
Location: Silver Spring, MD
Duration: 9-12+ Months

Note: Local candidates needed

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: The position will involve:

1. Providing support on reviewing business requirements documents for the VES Wireline Marketing, Legal and Compliance teams.
2. Project management of minimal to complex legal matters pertinent to CPNI (Customer Proprietary Network Information) for all Telecommunication Enterprise Web Portals and Mobile Applications.
3. Responsibilities include planning and preparing for meetings, documenting information obtained during the meetings, identifying and communicating and tracking action items and ultimately making sure all commitments are met timely.
4. Organizes and coordinates with stakeholders across several lines of business gathering information and requirements on projects impacting CPNI and SAC (Significant Account Change) processes.
5. Researches user stories and requirements to identify CPNI and SAC impacts and summarizes statutes and business flows using a variety of tools such as BPMN (Business Process Model & Notation), VISIO or Power Point.
6. Participates in JAD sessions and reviews scope on project artifacts such as Process Flow Documents (PFDs), Entity Relation Ship Diagrams (ERDs), Dataflow Diagrams (DFDs), test plans and policy and procedure manuals to extract any CPNI and SAC impacts
7. Provides direction and insight to the UAT teams on the correct behavior of test cases
8. Handles day-to-day escalations on CPNI and SAC matters and quickly addresses them working with IT and other impacted teams.
9. Identifies CPNI gaps in existing & new upcoming projects and takes ownership of defining new SAC test cases
10. Reviews customer feedbacks on a day to day basis and works with the development team to have any issues fixed.
11. Works with the helpdesk and other teams to process the SAC fallouts manually
12. Works with the SAC UAT team and gathers feedback necessary to support the monthly CPNI attestations and summarizes the feedback for presenting it on the Bi-Weekly CPNI 10D calls
13. Performs BCE (Business Customer Exemption) validation every month to ensure that the BCE customers indeed have active CPNI Protection language on file in Contract Viewer
14. Performs Monthly CPNI validation for Partner Center Portal, Wholesale VOIP portals and helps filing attestations to legal and compliance
15. Performs Project management of minimal to complex legal matters to streamline the Employee VEC access process
16. Responsibilities include planning and preparing for meetings, documenting information obtained during the meetings, identifying and communicating and tracking action items and ultimately making sure all commitments are met timely.
17. Develops presentations using PowerPoint, Excel and Word and prepares, updates applicable meeting materials (i.e. Matrices, Charts, etc.);

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
At least 5 to 7 years' experience as a Business Analyst or Operations Analyst on large and complex projects
Bachelor's Degree with strong academic performance, advanced degree preferred.
Proven interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal with a strong background of organizational skills and attention to details.
Ability to work in an agile, deadline-driven environment and handle multiple priorities in an efficient manner
Self-starter with great analytical, qualitative, quantitative and problem solving skills, with the ability to make well thought out decision.
Experienced and well versed with all phases of the software development life cycle
Must be skilled in reviewing user stories, business and system requirements to clearly differentiate functional vs non-functional requirements.
High level of competence with BPMN (Business Process Model & Notation), MS Office, including advance Excel skills
Telecomm experience a huge plus
Knowledge of marketing issues and prior experience with CPNI (Customer Proprietary Network Information) and SAC (Significant Account Change) process is highly desirable.
