We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile individual with experience designing and developing data dashboards to join our dynamic team in building a groundbreaking marketplace platform . Detailed requirements, wireframes, and user stories have already been established.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain consistent visual design elements like color schemes, typography, and layout structures.
- Adapt designs for varying screen sizes and platforms, such as mobile, web, and tablet interfaces.
- Work with leadership in design planning and goal creation.
- Understand customers and their needs through customer research and feedback.
- Facilitate the design process, and present and iterate design solutions.
- Develop, pitch, and validate long-term design strategies.
- Develop interactive elements and animations in Next.js that enhance user experience.
- Customize and extend Tailwind's configuration to fit the project's design requirements and ensure consistency across the application.
- Design and implement neumorphic elements ensuring the style is accessible and user-friendly.
- 5+ years of experience in UI design or Front-End Development.
- Comfortable being a solo design contributor, with the support of an experienced development team.
- Expert in custom dashboard and component design for data driven platforms.
- Design system technical documentation: units, semantics, responsive behaviors.
- BS Degree Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Insatiably curious, highly collaborative, and a great listener.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Passion for product-centric, UI-driven innovation.
- Experience creating & executing user research plans, evangelizing results, and demonstrating resultant designs measurably improve customer experiences.
- Experience in Next.js / TailwindCSS (w/ plugins) / Custom Visualization design.
- Familiarity with Neumorphism and similar design trends and implementations.
- Mobile first design process.
- Demonstrable ability to convert design vision into a phased implementation plan.
- Demonstrable ability to facilitate design-thinking sessions with multidisciplinary teams.
- Experienced using UI design tools (i.e. Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, etc.).
- Excellent storyteller, adept at on-the-fly storyboarding.
- Extremely proficient leveraging at least one behavioral analytics platform to create compelling narratives.
- Experience working with AWS.
- Experience working with DynamoDB or comparable data platforms.
