We are seeking a Mid-Level Developer to support a Flagship contract with the ability to architect, design, implement, test and deliver highly scalable products. This role would require the ability to master our development process, culture, and code base, then improve it. This role would be based in the DC Metro area and operate on east coast hours. This role would require a background test in Hacker-rank.

Full time, Hybrid position with on-site requirements of three (3) days a week with occasional travel to Washington DC for required meetings.

Responsibilities

Architect, design, implement, test and deliver highly scalable products.

Master our development process, culture, and code base, then improve it

Four (4+ years) experience setting up and working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments, especially AWS Lambda and other serverless technologies.

Operate optimally in the hybrid engineering model where engineers are encouraged to be able to craft and complete the vital work to ensure quality in their own code as well as other engineers.

Utilize programming languages like Java, Spring, Springboot and NoSQL databases, and a variety of AWS tools and services.

Experience with Front end Technologies Such as React and JavaScript.

Strong experience with Databases design (SQL, NoSQL) and analytics

Mentor others in development technologies, tools, and processes

Experience with Agile software development and test-driven development.

Requirements

Must have an Interim/Active DoD Secret Clearance or be clearable

Must be local to DC metro area. (DC, MD, VA)

Must have at least 2-4 yrs of Mid-Level Developer experience

Must have at least 4+ yrs of AWS experience.

Must have Java, Spring, Springboot and NoSQL databases experience.

Must have experience in variety of AWS tools and services

Must have a bachelor s degree in computer science or related field.

On-site requirements are three days a week with occasional travel to Washington DC for required meetings.

MUST HAVE ACTIVE DoD Secret Clearance.
