Responsibilities: Responsible for working with all facets of dispatch: Prepare daily work schedules for all drivers and crew members Prepare daily work schedules and responsibilities for the jobs Dispatch crews after careful review & communication to meet our service standards, and the scope of work specific to each job and each day Dispatch to meet start times each day for each job Any employee dispatched will meet MG s uniform standards Review dispatch sheets daily for maximum equipment/manpower utilization and crew productivity; develop improvements and enhancements to the existing system Monitor all jobs to ensure operational timelines & goals are met. Clearly communicate all deficiencies directly with crew members within 24 hours of any occurrence Adherence to company policy and procedures by warehouse and moving personnel are the responsibility of Dispatch Support the recruiting, hiring, training, and evaluate crew and CDL drivers Support maintaining operational safety and other standards Support standard employee files for all operations employees Additional duties, and tasks, as assigned Qualifications: Applicant with experience working with people in stressful and dynamic conditions is preferred Previous work in a customer-facing position Candidate must have great customer service communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills High school diploma or GED required; bachelor s or associate degree is preferred We prefer applicants with 1+ years of experience as a service dispatcher Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 yearly Depending on experience
