Social Services Case Manager for Supportive Services for Veterans (SSVF)

Job description

Overview:

Classification: Full-Time, Non-Exempt, 37.5 hours/week, 8:30 a.m. 4:30 p.m.

Job Focus: This position is responsible for case management services including crisis intervention/emergency lodging, housing search, case plans, financial literacy/budgeting, transportation, employment search/linkage, referral and linkage to community resources. Other duties include completion of client intake and assessment forms, data collection, and HMIS entry.

Qualifications:
  • An understanding of and passion for The Salvation Armys Mission
  • Licensed social worker preferred
  • Experience working with persons facing housing crisis and/or homelessness preferred
  • Experience working with Veteran population preferred
  • Strong work ethic
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to maintain strict confidentiality
  • At least 21 years old with a valid Ohio Drivers license and the ability to obtain and maintain driving privileges per Salvation Army insurance standards.
