Overview/ Job Responsibilities:

Sev1Tech is looking for an IT Project Manager - Junior to play a role on a very large program involving network, cybersecurity, and cloud operations and engineering support services to a government customer with a significant mission for security and public safety. The program will encompass a wide range of tasks across Program Management; Monitoring, Analysis and Incident Response; Tier 3 Engineering and O&M; and Field Engineering technical support.Work will be executed in the National Capital Region, in Stennis, Mississippi; Chandler, Arizona; and other locations in the U.S and occasionally OCONUS.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:Assist more experienced project managers in planning and tracking project tasksSupport cost management activities across the project life-cycleDevelop project schedulesTrack and report on project milestonesCoordinate quality reviews of contract deliverablesDocument, track, and report on risksEnsure that any administrative support required by project teams is providedWork with customers to prioritize operations tasks and engineering projectsProvide routinely scheduled reports to senior managers on task and project performanceWork closely with the PMO team to maintain visibility of all NOSC tasks and projectsSupport the development of briefings and presentations for customersSupport the development of documentation on NOSC policies, SOPs, and Best PracticesProvide updates on NOSC policies, SOPs, and Best Practices to the PMO teamTrack deliverablesMinimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security or equivalent education requiredAt least 2 (two) years of experience in federal contractingExperience working as part of a PMOExperience on at least one federal contract involving IT Operations and EngineeringHighly effective organizational skillsExemplary people skills, demonstrated through interactions with contractor personnel and customersAbility to multi-task effectivelyUnderstanding of ITIL practicesExperience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookSuperior written and verbal communication skillsAbility to obtain a Public Trust clearance

Desired Qualifications:

Ability to obtain a PMP certificationSome experience on NOC and or SOC contractsPrevious experience with DHSExperiencing developing Agile processesExperience leading small project teamsExperience on projects applying Agile practicesExperience working with Jira and ServiceNowAbout Sev1Tech LLC:
