As a Dual Diagnosis Therapist at Sandstone Care, you will have the opportunity to:
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs and goals of each client.
- Conduct group and individual therapy sessions that foster a safe and supportive environment for healing and growth.
- Provide empathetic and compassionate support to both clients and their families, helping them improve their well-being and quality of life.
Qualifications:
- Clinical license in Maryland or is able to transfer license to MD prior to start date (LCPC, LCSW, LMFT - Provisional Licenses will also be considered (LGPC, LMSW, LGMFT).
- 1 year of previous experience with substance abuse treatment required, with preferred experience in a detox or residential setting.
- proficient in motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and strong documentation skills.
