Job Summary:
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will provide basic care to patients and assists them with daily activities under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will provide basic care to patients and assists them with daily activities under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

- None
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, grooming, feeding, and assisting with mobility.
- Take and record patients' vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse rate, and respiration rate.
- Help patients with activities like dressing, toileting, and transferring between beds and wheelchairs.
- Document and report any changes in patients' health or behavior to the nursing staff.
- Work closely with nurses, psychiatrists, psychologists, and counselors to implement and support treatment plans.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Keep patient rooms and common areas clean and organized.
- Ensure the safety of patients by following established protocols and guidelines.
- Other clinical duties as requested.
- Able to work independently and as a positive member of a team.
- Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and their families.
- Ability to lift and move patients and stand for long periods.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Communicate effectively with a variety of individuals and function calmly in situations, which require a high degree of sensitivity, tact, and diplomacy.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions accurately and be detail oriented.
- High School Graduate or equivalent required.
- Completion of a state-approved CNA program and certification.
- Knowledge or experience in behavioral health care preferred.
- Experience working with EHR and Strong computer literacy skills.
- CPR certification
- Frequently required to twist, stoop, bend, reach, pull, push, stand, sit, and walk for up to eight hours per day.
- Able to lift and transfer people, with varying weights.
