Job description

A D.C. Attorney Executive Search Firm is seeking a Practice Manager to join their team. The Practice Manager provides primary support to the firm's Lateral Partner Practice Group and works collaboratively and as an active contributor to the Firm. The responsibilities include performing research on attorney biographies, research on law firms that meet certain criteria, assembling spreadsheets, assisting with marketing, scheduling interviews, speaking with candidates and employers, and other recruiter support activities. Hours are 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. with weekend/late night work being very rare, if at all. Candidates must be vaccinated. This is a hybrid role.

$65K-$80K DOE

Job Responsibilities:

Attend and facilitate weekly Partner Practice Group meetings with recruitersManage the pipeline of partner prospectsSend targeted search emails to potential candidates on the recruiters' behalf (as needed)Document all candidate information (notes from conversations, resumes, etc.) in the databaseProofread and finalize job ads, candidate profiles and questionnairesAssist in the drafting of candidate cover letters and in the initial filling in of information for forms and business plans for partner candidatesDraft fee agreement letters for new clientsProofread and finalize documents for client presentations (as needed)Prepare client & candidate meeting folders (as requested)Schedule and participate in partner candidate intake calls with recruiters (as requested)Schedule candidate interviews (interact with clients to obtain interview details and obtain candidate availability), as well as interview prep call with recruiterEmail candidates interview prep materials re logistics, interview schedule, and LinkedIn profiles/bios of interviewersRun Partner and Associate (as needed) searches in various databases and on certain websites:

Collect research into excel spreadsheet or otherwise accessible formatLabel and save research in a manner that identifies scope and nature of researchReview candidates and eliminate those who are not a possible fitCross check candidates with the database for relevant notes/recruiter ownershipMarketing:

Send and manage email campaigns for new candidates and clientsCoordinate LinkedIn posts for Partner Practice GroupCoordinate new articles to post on LateralPartners.comDiscuss ways to increase marketing to partnersOffice Administrative Support (only as needed, as back-up):

Mail/BankDistribute mailPrepare and Send USPS PackagesMake bank deposits at SunTrustRegister visitorsAssist recruiters in planning marketing activities (send out invitations, order lunch, prepare & print all materials, and sit in on meetings)Order Office Supplies via Staples or AmazonJob Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree3+ years of experience in law firm recruiting or as a legal or executive assistant is ideal. Also of interest would be prior tenure in a recruiting function for a corporation.Strong proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPointExperience working in databases entering data and generating reportsStrong interpersonal skillsTech-savvyResourceful and self-startingHigh attention to detailExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to multitask and mitigate risksAbility to work autonomously but also as a strong collaborator and team playerStrong organizational, project and time management skillsGood judgment and ability to maintain confidential information
