The HR People Analytics team contributes to business success by providing senior business and HR leaders with workforce information and insights used to solve business problems. The team participate in all phases of the analytic lifecycle, from research design and data acquisition to the building dashboard, reporting, predictive models, and decision support tools. As a consultant, you'll be responsible for data acquisition and integration, designing data interfaces, and data quality assurance. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with analytics professionals to build predictive data models, dashboards, and reporting. You will have the opportunity to work with a cross-functional team of technology, behavioral science, statistics, and human resources functional experts (talent management, talent acquisition, learning, diversity, compensation, benefits) to build the next generation of people analytics tools. As a Consultant, you ll be responsible for solution scoping, design, and development in support of people data and analytic needs. You will be able to contribute and help shape the vision and design of data strategy and data management that guides and prepares data used for all aspects of people analytics. We'll count on you to be a creative problem solver with a solid understanding of the systems design, cloud, databases and the applications and programs used.

Beyond strong data integration and management skills, you'll need the ability to communicate well, articulating complex technical topics to a variety of technical and non-technical audiences. You'll have opportunities to be innovative, self-motivated, and create genuine business value through the alignment of technology, data and business interests.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Designs and develops data architecture to support people analytics function (Workday, Prism, disparate data sources).Builds data structures, algorithms and models to support HR machine learning capability.Develops interfaces (APIs) to data sources, including cloud-based applications.Develops and implements data retention and maintenance strategies (Prism).Owns the development and implementation of data design, data integration, and inspect/approve data models.Contributes to data strategy in modern data platforms to serve modern initiatives - cloud data strategy (iPaaS), artificial intelligence (AI) with predictive analytics.Collaborates and consults with the business, technology organization and external vendors to ensure configured business processes are aligned and system integration supports business strategies and processes.Owns the design, development and implementation of people data solutions to ensure the quality, integrity, and performance needs of the business are achieved. Consults across multiple functional areas including, but not limited to, payroll, benefits, absence, compensation, talent management, talent acquisition, self-service, mobile, security and integrationsImplements and consults on highly complex or specialized projects. Adapts precedent and may make significant departures from traditional approaches to develop solutions.Assists in HR information systems (HRIS) design and development. Prepares and/or supervises statistical summaries and special reports from HRIS involving skills, pay grade and performance data, payroll information and other employee records.Works with business, technology organization and team members to evaluate and identify business needs, process improvements and requirements. Serves as the primary consultant to the leader for issue resolution, demand management and building and maintaining client relationships. Evaluates, analyzes, designs, implements and improves business processes within and across functional areas.Drives solution improvements through optimization, enhancements and the implementation of new features and functions.Conducts proactive and reactive monitoring to detect, predict and resolve abnormal conditions in the environment.May perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Reporting Relationships: Reports to AVP, Executive Compensation Governance and Variable Rewards. This is an individual contributor role.

Typical Skills and Experiences:Education: Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems or a related field is preferred.

License/Certification/Designation: Technology certifications or designation preferred.

Experience: Eight or more years of demonstrated experience in a technology domain. Proven skill in multiple architectural domains and various technologies. Extensive experience in the design, redesign and migration of medium to large data programs. Experience with cloud technologies is preferred.

Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Good communication and facilitation skills. Ability to make decisions and recommendations on technology strategies while considering various options and business needs. Aptitude to influence, establish relationships, negotiate and set priorities needed. Insurance/financial services industry knowledge a plus. Experienced use of Lean documentation.

Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.

Staffing exceptions to the above must be approved by the hiring manager s leader and Human Resources Business Partner.
