Responsibilities

Managing the software development release function. Developing and implementing business plans, policies, and procedures to help with efficient release execution.

Developing and implementing policies, and procedures. Collaborating with team members to prioritize software development needs including design, development, and documenting and testing new and existing software.

Possessing a broad technical expertise and company/industry knowledge with specific experience managing the release/deployment process for Enterprise class cloud solutions.

Coordinating the initial release and updates of code, configuration data, and user data into various sub-production and production cloud environments.

Initiating QA of releases, providing release updates, managing rollback of releases and tracking corrective and preventative actions needed through re-release.

Planning releases, communicating release schedules, publishing release documentation for teams and stakeholders.

Facilitating and coordinating staff shared service teams for all release related tasks, defect tracking, and other environment change activities.
