Requirements

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline from an accredited institution.
Mandatory Skills:
  • Expertise in analyzing IT systems for cybersecurity vulnerabilities.
  • Proficiency in IT system or network architecture design, IP data flow analysis, encryption configuration, and vulnerability analysis.
  • Experience with cyber security vulnerability assessment in devices such as firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, or Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems.
  • Familiarity with communication protocols (IP, TCP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS, MPLS, OSPF, IGRP, BGP, SIP, H.232).
  • Knowledge in multiple OS's (Windows, Linux, OSX) and specific Microsoft Windows versions.
  • Understanding cloud computing technology and hypervisors (HyperV, VMWare ESX, Virtual Box).
  • Demonstrated ability in network management systems, storage, backup systems, and DR architectures.
  • Proficiency in technical risk assessments and mitigation guidance.
  • CISSP Certification is required.
Software Development Skills:
  • Experience with front-end web development tools (Node, NPN).
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node NPM.
  • Familiarity with RESTful interfaces and developing applications hosted on Linux/Unix with Apache server.
