As the Senior Cyber Security Analyst, you will have a hands-on role and be responsible for all aspects of IT Security Governance, Operations, and Monitoring. Specifically, you will implement and manage cybersecurity systems, conduct routine risk assessments, and perform remediations. Additionally, as the Senior Cyber Security Analyst, you will oversee the day-to-day security operations of the organization. The starting salary

range for this position is $105,000 plus all full time employees are eligible for an annual bonus. Offers vary depending on education, prior experience, and expertise being applied to the role.What We Look for in the Ideal CandidateDemonstrates self-reliance by meeting/exceeding workflow needs.Demonstratespositiveattitude and motivation, concern for students, teamwork, and excellent time management skills.Follows established processes as outlined by organization and leadership.Completes assigned duties based on daily business needs and individual skill set.Consistently produces a high volume of quality work.Capable, and adapts as needed, to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Proven ability to work independently with limited supervision and with other department personnel.Must support and embrace the College s B Corp mission to improve the people and communities we serve through our civic engagement initiatives.Must have exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills.Must be "self-motivated" as well as creative and efficient in proposing solutions to complex, time-critical problems.Must be collaborative in driving decisions and a team-player.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.Builds and maintains student satisfaction.Recognizes and anticipates student needs.Day to Day ResponsibilitiesIn this role you will wear different hats, but your skills will be especially essential in thefollowingareas:Develops and implements written IT security policies and procedures aligned with industry standards, including NIST, ISO, FERPA, GLBA, PCI, HIPAA, etc.Administers and manages network-hosted endpoint and cloud

cybersecurity systems including but not limited to Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, M365, Cloudflare, ManageEngine, Mimecast, API Security tools, Sonar.Partners with Human Resources to develop and implement IT Security Awareness training programs.Analyzing new and existing systems to determine the appropriate data classification and relevant security controls.Providing security and compliance consultation on new projects pertaining to cloud security, data security and privacy, HIPAA, FERPA, etc.Partners with IT leadership to improve ACE s IT Security Program by constantly evaluating marketplace innovations and providing recommendations.Establishes, tracks & updates security policies & governances.Oversees managed Security Operation Center (SOC).Monitors and responds to security alerts and/or incidents.Stay abreast with continuously evolving Cybersecurity landscape.Qualifications and Education RequirementsBachelor s degree or combination of relevant education and experience.Must have at least 5-7 years of relevant IT Security experience.Demonstrated knowledge of IT Security Program concepts and techniques required.Working knowledge of SIEM

technologies, Sophos Product Suite, M365 Security and Governance, CIS Controls and Benchmarks.Expert knowledge and understanding of IT Security principles, processes, and technology.Experienced with Risk Assessments and Mediation identified thru continuous vulnerability assessment.Strong grasp of Powershell or other scripting languages for automating tasks and configurations.CISSP, CCSP, or other relevant security certifications preferred.Higher Education industry experience preferred.
