This is done through several collaboration efforts amongst the contract teams as well as with the customer. The deployment of the baseline can be done through command line interface, Commercial-off-the Shelf (COTS) network management system applications, or taskings through the customer's ticketing system to our applicable teams. The Compliance Technician's primary goal is to ensure that the baseline is up to date, secure to the Defense Information Security Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG), and accurate across the entire network enterprise. This is an excellent opportunity to develop in one of AT&Ts key engineering organizations supporting deployment of new, innovative, and challenging technologies.The job duties of the Compliance Technician are as follows:Manage the IT-IA-IM baseline configuration for all-project related work for project oversight as well as office-level oversight and controlDevelop policies for documenting and changing baseline project configuration items and processesParticipate in the evaluation of new network technologies and make recommendations to the network architecture team regarding the integration of these technologies into the existing networkUtilize complex network analysis tools to assist in identifying and remediating vulnerabilities throughout enterprise level servicesMonitor security posture of the network using network compliance tools, report suspected violations to designated teams for mitigation.Support Operations and Maintenance (O&M) activities and administer networks including hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations; providing training on such activities where required.Monitor the performance of compliance and auditing of network management systems to include troubleshooting device and network issuesConfigure network devices using management tools and command line interfaces to ensure they follow DISA STIG terface with vendors, internal customers, and peers to schedule and coordinate terface with and coordinate work taskings through customer managed ticket systemRequired Clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph. (#ts/sci) (#polygraph)Required Qualifications:Candidate must have 10 years of experience that can be a combination of work history and education. This equates to a Doctorate and 3 years of experience OR Masters and 4 years, Bachelors and 6 years, Associates and 8 years or HS and 10 years.Must comply with DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2.Required qualifications include:Functional knowledge of MS Office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPointFunctional knowledge of system administrator roles and actionsFunctional understanding of networking Operating Systems (OS) such as Cisco and JuniperFamiliar with terminal emulators, serial console, and network file transfer applications such as PuTTY, Xterm, WinSCP.Proficiency creating drawings using MS VisioHave a working knowledge of complex routing protocols such as Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), Border Gate Protocol (BGP), Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP), etc. Desired Qualifications:Ability to brief and communicate with team leadership, customers, and vendorsFamiliarity with Atlassian Confluence team collaboration applicationsPrior system administrator with knowledge of vulnerability remediationBe familiar with applications related to network and topology mappingPrevious experience with STIG Viewer and Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) toolsOur Configuration Management - Compliance Technician earns between $110,000 - $140,000 yearly.
