+ **Duties**

* This position is located in the Food and Drug Administration, Center for Devices and Radiological Health, Office of Strategic Partnership and Technology Innovation (OST), Immediate Office (IO), Resilient Supply Chain.

* As a Program Support Specialist in OST/IO, you will:

* Provide a variety of staff support and program management assistance to the supervisor by participating in the development and implementation of day to day and long-range projects, actions and activities for the assigned organization.

* Coordinate travel for the supervisor and the program staff by making all necessary arrangements for travel, domestic and international, and processing all required reimbursement documentation in a timely manner.

* Serve as a timekeeper coordinating time and attendance records.

** Qualifications**

**The position of Program Support Specialist falls under the** **0301** **occupational series. To qualify for this position at grade** GS-**9/11, you must meet requirements by 11:59 pm EST on 11/16/2021.**

**Time-in-Grade:** Any individual who is currently holding, or has held within the previous 52 weeks, a General Schedule position under non-temporary appointment in the competitive or excepted service, must meet time-in-grade requirements (must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade or equivalent in the Federal service). Time-in-grade requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.

**To qualify for a Program Support Specialist, GS-301-9/11 , you MUST meet the requirements listed below:

GS-9:**

A. For the GS-09 level, you must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 level or equivalent band of responsibility in the Federal service, such as experience evaluating programmatic issues, presenting findings, and recommending administrative strategies to management; and coordinating administrative functions related to travel, timekeeping, scheduling meetings and program operations requests.

**OR**

B. Have a Master's or equivalent graduate degree OR 2 full years of related progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.B. or J.D., if related.

**OR**

C. Have a combination of graduate education and specialized experience. To combine education and experience, determine your total qualifying experience as a percentage of the experience required for the grade level. Then compute your education as a percentage of the education required for the grade level. Finally, add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify.

**GS-11:**

A. For the GS-11 level, you must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 level or equivalent band of responsibility in the Federal service, such as experience evaluating programmatic issues, presenting findings, and recommending administrative strategies to management; coordinating administrative functions related to travel, timekeeping, scheduling meetings and program operations requests; and recommending administrative program improvements to streamline office administrative processes.

**OR**

B. Have a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degreeOR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education.

**OR**

C. Have a combination of graduate education and specialized experience. To combine education and experience, determine your total qualifying experience as a percentage of the experience required for the grade level. Then compute your education as a percentage of the education required for the grade level. Finally, add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify.
