Job Title: Data Scientist

Location: Chantilly

Security Clearance: Active, in-scope US Government issued Top Secret Clearance w/ FS Poly

Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.

The Data Scientist will create data science and data engineering products that include data models, data ingestion/transform, analytics which may include machine learning, and some form of output as either a machine-readable format (e.g. file output, database output, standard/streaming output) or a user interface or dashboard.
Determine appropriate approaches to analyze data sets (including statistical analysis). Develop and utilize Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning and other predictive data modeling techniques. Move toward predictive and prescriptive analytics. Develop user-friendly, easy to understand repo1ts ( e.g., graphs, charts, briefing slides, targeted explanatory or interpretive text) for clients to meet business needs. Create, enhance, and maintain data visualizations using Tableau and other tools. (This includes dashboards.) Use Tableau Prep. Develop interpretive statements based on analyses and available information. Responsibilities

Demonstrated experience with the following:

• Python programming
• REST APIs and microservices.
• Demonstrated experience performing the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of structured and unstructured data
• Demonstrated experience modeling, structuring, cleaning, and conditioning data from multiple sources and in multiple different formats, languages, and encodings.
• Demonstrated experience with cloud services, such as AWS.preferred
