Founded in 1993, MTSI today has employees at over 20 offices and field sites worldwide.For more information about MTSI, please visit .ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Production Engineer you will provide production guidance supporting first article through full-rate production of advanced military aircraft. Advise programs on industry best practices for integration across manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, quality assurance, and native part fabrication. Manages reporting of production program metrics, optimization, and modernization efforts.Specific Job Duties:Manage production activities with emphasis on ensuring ideal processes are in place to put parts and workable content on the production floor on time for current and future activities. Represent the program office in production, integration, and modernization efforts. Provide expert consultation on integration of digital thread, determinant assembly, and other modern manufacturing processes.Manage daily/weekly production status and metrics reporting.Prepare and evaluate technical documentation supporting current production as well as future optimization.Prepare information and decision briefings.Support and advise Government Program Office on production activities.QualificationsRequired Skills and Experience:12-15 years recent (within 10 years) experience working or managing acquisition programs for air vehicles or like systems RequiredKnowledge of state-of-the-art manufacturing, quality assurance, supply chain, and product lifecycle management practices DesiredExperience with first article builds and transition to full rate production Highly DesiredEducational Requirements:Bachelor Degree (manufacturing, industrial, systems, mechanical, or electrical engineering) - DesiredClearance Required:TS/SCI (top secret/SCI)Location:National Capital Region (NCR) Please Note: U.S. Citizenship is required for most MTSI positions.#LI-LS1#lawrenciumsaskatchewantrout
