Work Schedule: Hybrid telework schedule (minimum 6 days/month on-site), includes telework and on-site at Washington, DC (unless directed otherwise).BACKGROUND:The Contractor will deliver expertise in HCM Module within Workday. The Contractor will be expected to support the planning, implementation, configuration, design, deployment, and testing of Workday Feature Releases, which occur twice annually. In addition, the resource will also help support operational tasks including providing backlog support and assistance with critical operational issues as needed.REQUIREMENTS:In addition, the candidate shall have demonstrated experience in the following:At least 7 Years experience in the following: implementing and configure Workday solutions, designing, configuring, testing, and deploying business requirements across multiple Workday module(s) Hands on experience with Workday configurationsAt least 7 years of experience with assessing, implementing, and testing Workday Feature Releases, enhancements, updatesPossess clear, concise, and effective verbal and written communication for test and change related documentationWork independently and meet deadlines for assigned tasksSimultaneously works on several complex assignments, some requiring collaboration with external groupsPossess strong analytical and research skillsAt least 7 years of enterprise resource planning (ERP), Workday HCM upgrade experience.7 years of industry knowledge in HCM Administration KEYRESPONSIBILITIESUnderstand the ERP architecture and how Workday integrates within the systemAssist with planning and executing regression testing for each Workday Feature ReleaseAssist as needed with Workday scrum teamsSupport peer reviews on changes made by developersUnderstand operational requirements and assist with providing support as needed with design, build, and test.Provide insight to your functional area from your product and industry knowledgeReview implementation of defined processes for Workday, record findings and make recommendations for changes to those processes, as needed.Review the operational defects or errors and provide scrum team support for remediationSupport transition to automated testing solution once identified Contractor shall deliver, but not limited to, the following:Thoroughly assess all existing Workday configuration and artifacts. Document findings and recommendations to scrum and QA teamProvide recommendations, develop action plans, and help implement capabilities to improve Workday Feature Release managementProvide assessment and impact analysis of Workday feature releases relevant to configurationSupport for operational issues and enhancements to Workday
