This critical role requires specialized domain expertise in federal agencies, particularly the Department of Commerce, Department of Energy, or various financial services agencies. As a Cloud Transformation Architect/Engineer, you will be at the forefront of driving and implementing cloud strategies and solutions for our federal clients, ensuring a seamless and effective digital transformation.Key Responsibilities:Develop comprehensive cloud transformation strategies for federal agencies, ensuring alignment with their unique regulatory and operational requirements.Provide expert guidance on cloud architectures, platforms, and technologies, particularly in the context of federal agency compliance and security standards.Design and deploy scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure and services. Address complex challenges in cloud migration and integration for federal agencies.Ensure strict adherence to federal cybersecurity policies and standards, including FISMA, FedRAMP, and agency-specific regulations.Collaborate with agency stakeholders to understand their mission-critical needs and tailor cloud solutions accordingly.Stay abreast of emerging cloud technologies and trends. Recommend and implement improvements to enhance system performance and operational efficiency.Lead and execute cloud transformation projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality outcomes.Work closely with market and account leads to develop and execute comprehensive strategies for both existing projects and prospective opportunities in the federal domain. This includes identifying new cloud service needs, expanding client relationships, and aligning cloud transformation initiatives with broader business objectives and market trends.Qualifications:Applicants selected will be subject to a government investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client; Public Trust determination is required.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent level of professional experience.Minimum of 10 years of experience in cloud architecture and engineering, with a focus on federal agency environments.Proven expertise in designing and implementing cloud solutions for the Department of Commerce, Department of Energy, and financial services agencies (SEC, FDIC, IRS, etc.).Demonstrable expert-level proficiency in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, validated by current associate, specialty, or professional certifications in these cloud platforms.In-depth understanding of federal IT security and compliance frameworks (FISMA, FedRAMP).Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in complex environments.Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities.Experience in leading large-scale cloud transformation projects in federal agencies.#techjobs #clearanceEEO StatementEEO Statement: Active military service members, their spouses, and veteran candidates often embody the core competencies Maximus deems essential, and bring a resiliency and dependability that greatly enhances our workforce. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
