Our innovative solutions and customer focused approach provide our clients with unmatched value and quality.Job Summary:The Senior Project Manager oversees the overall project direction of large, complex and/or multiple projects that have Project Management Teams. He/she will be instrumental in the assembly of these teams. The Senior Project Manager is responsible to plan and oversee the project to ensure a timely and cost effective outcome. This includes budgeting, organization, implementation

and scheduling of the project. He/she will oversee a smooth transition from the estimate/pre-construction phase to construction, including design management, if applicable, in order to protect the bid position. He/she is responsible for ensuring the project/area is constructed in a safe, ethical manner, and in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.What you will do:The profit/loss of the project(s) under his/her supervision through effective contract administrationPlanning and scheduling, cost control and overall project leadershipThe Sr. PM may run large complex projects or multiple smaller jobsIn coordination with the Superintendent, the Sr. PM insures that the project is built safely in accordance with design, budget, and schedule. Also coordinates with Superintendent regarding labor, equipment, subcontractors, construction means and methods and scheduling.Building effective relationships and problem solving with the customers, subcontractors and vendorsSupports the estimating staff to prepare bids.QualificationsBachelors in Civil EngineeringAt least 10+ years project management experience in heavy highway or heavy civil construction with an emphasis on project financial and schedule managementExperience with estimating heavy highway or heavy/civil construction projectsComputer literacy required including Microsoft Office and P6Experience with Viewpoint and HCSS is preferred.What we offer:Competitive compensation, medical/dental/vision coverage, paid PTO, 401k with a company match, training, career planning, and more.Our preference is for all estimators to be in the corporate office but will consider situations where a hybrid work model may be considered.Core Values
