Requisition ID: 1505ROLE :The Software QA Engineer (Level I) will be part of a team responsible for supporting an aerial surveillance system for a Department of Defense customer. The candidate will support software for an integrated application that includes external system sensors, captured video, and static imagery. The candidate will be responsible for software and system testing to include test design, implementation, and execution. The ability to obtain a security clearance is required.The position will:- Work closely with the QA team and Software developers to produce a product of the highest possible quality- Work to define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret tests for products, systems, components, or modifications.- Identify functional problems and suggest resolutions.- Define internal quality control standards and the maintenance of reliability programs.- Document and analyze test cases and provides regular progress reports.- Ensure testing procedures are in compliance with any required industry specific standards.- May coordinate with vendors or suppliers to modify or develop testing for components or other parts.Requirements:Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience0-3 years of experience in Software QAWorking knowledge of Software Test Tools and Bug Tracking SoftwareWorking knowledge of Jira and ConfluenceDemonstrated interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with customers.Excellent written communications skills to produce detailed, accurate technical documentation.Must be able to receive a government security clearance.EEO Statement:
