Basic Qualifications

Education Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) related field. Agile experience preferred.

Clearance Requirements:

Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance with a Polygraph is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Working successfully within a team, the Software Engineer will assist project leaders in the research, design, development and testing of software and tools, to include development of new work products or enhancing existing applications, systems or embedded products. This may include coding, testing and documenting software solutions to advance our technology solutions.

Java Developers will have the opportunity to work on an Agile team to design and develop a wide array of K8s and Spring Based high data rate Microservices using Java 11. JavaScript developers will have the opportunity to design and enhance various GUIs like geospatial awareness tools using ReactJS due to rapid growth in data processing requirements.

Java/JavaScript Developers have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies including:

Technologies: Microservices, AWS, Docker, Kafka, Kubernetes, Cassandra, Java 11, ReactJS, Spring Boot/Cloud/Data, Redis, Postgres

Tools: Maven, Node, Git, Sonar, Eclipse, IntelliJ, Atlassian Jira (Bitbucket, Confluence, Bamboo, Crucible)

Basic Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Java and/or JavaScript like languages

• A Bachelor s degree in software engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent experience is required; Agile experience preferred
