Senior Software Engineer (C#, .Net, AI/ML)

Job description

NCQA is seeking a senior level software engineering professional with Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning systems experience based in Microsoft technologies. The Senior Software Engineer will work cross functionally and with leadership to develop and set technology development path for the organization. Act as project leader, work with various stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of software systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Architects, plans, leads and executes programming approaches to support various development projects. Can code at an expert level in applications such as C#, Blazor, .NET Core, SQL, React, TypeScript, Git, Azure, Knockout etc.
  • Utilization of generative AI based systems such as ChatGPT.
  • Provides technical assistance to users of NCQA applications; trouble-shoots technical problems and communicates solutions to users and/or delegates to the appropriate staff. Provides guidance to addressing customer issues related software.
  • Assist senior management in setting standards for modern and cloud technologies, developing best practices for implementation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in field related to computer science or information systems. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years experience or specific educational background sufficient to demonstrate competency with C# and a modern frontend technology such as Blazor, React, Angular or Vue.
  • Professional experience with Generative AI based systems such as ChatGPT.
  • Microsoft technology including ASP.NET (C#) and SQL Server.
  • 5+ years with Cloud technologies such as Azure / AWS / Google Cloud.
  • Proficient with programming languages as appropriate particularly ASP.NET and modern web frameworks such as React.
  • Comfortable with Object Oriented Programming and Software Patterns.
  • Excellent inter-personal skills. High motivation and ability to work with teams to meet project objectives.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to meet project deadlines and goals without management supervision.
  • Awareness of database design concepts, and is proficient in general cloud environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
  • For new hires, this position pays in the range of $135K - $165K per year, depending on experience.
  • This position is eligible for an annual incentive bonus, payable in accordance with policy.
