Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Guidance: Lead agile project teams in the successful execution of projects, ensuring timely delivery, scope adherence, and quality output.
- Facilitate Agile Ceremonies: Conduct daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
- Stakeholder Management: Maintain clear communication channels with project stakeholders, providing regular status updates and handling feedback.
- Backlog Management: Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure backlogs are refined, prioritized, and aligned with business objectives.
- Issue & Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage risks and issues, ensuring impediments are addressed promptly, and project momentum is maintained.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging teams to adopt and adapt best practices to enhance productivity and product quality.
- Team Mentorship: Coach and mentor team members on agile methodologies, practices, and principles.
- Resource Management: Assess and ensure the proper allocation of resources, including team member skills and tools, across projects.
- Performance Metrics: Track, measure, and report on project and team performance metrics.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- PMP and Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Agile Project Management or Scrum Master role.
- Strong understanding of the software development life cycle and familiarity with development frameworks.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and team-building skills.
- Proficient with agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Trello, etc.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and adapt to shifting priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Experience working with distributed or remote teams.
- Familiarity with additional project management methodologies and frameworks.
