A Senior Azure Infrastructure Administrator with a focus on PowerShell and Automation for Cloud Services is a pivotal technical role, emphasizing the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust, scalable, and efficient cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure. This role requires a deep and comprehensive understanding of Azure services and technologies, coupled with expert-level proficiency in PowerShell, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.

What you will be working on:

• Design and Deploy Azure Infrastructure: Utilize Azure services to create scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions. Focus on VNets, Azure AD, DNS, Azure DDoS, compute, and storage configurations.
• PowerShell Scripting Expertise: Develop, optimize, and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation of cloud infrastructure tasks, ensuring operational efficiency and accuracy.
• Automation of Cloud Services: Implement automation solutions using Azure tools and scripting languages for repetitive tasks, infrastructure deployment, and management processes.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Utilize IaC tools like Azure Bicep and Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates to automate the provisioning and management of Azure resources.
• Azure Active Directory Management: Oversee identity and access management using Azure AD, ensuring secure and efficient access controls.
• Network Management and Security: Manage Azure VNets and integrate network security solutions, including DNS configurations and DDoS protection strategies.
• Compute and Storage Optimization: Administer Azure compute resources and storage solutions, focusing on performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Integration of Microsoft Infrastructure: Leverage expertise in Microsoft infrastructure, including Windows Server and Virtual Desktop, to seamlessly integrate cloud and on-premises environments.
• Collaboration and Strategy Alignment: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the cloud infrastructure aligns with the overall IT strategy and business goals.
• Continuous Learning and Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging cloud technologies, trends, and best practices to continually enhance the infrastructure.

What you will bring to us:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing Azure cloud solutions or being apart of large Enteprise Integrations as an M365 Administrator
• Strong knowledge of Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Security.
• Experience in migrating on-premises infrastructure to Azure, including lift-and-shift and re-architecting strategies.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Azure Bicep, ARM templates, and other relevant technologies.
• Deep understanding of Azure governance and best practices for security, compliance, and cost optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Would be nice if you bring the following:

• Microsoft Azure certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Associate, are highly preferred.
