Senior Network Engineer

Job Description
  • Offer expert guidance and assist with the integration and consolidation of network environments across diverse systems.
  • Develop comprehensive implementation plans for integrated solutions, detailing actions, milestones, and critical timelines.
  • Resolve technical issues and oversee the installation and upgrade of network systems and hardware.
  • Work closely with customers, vendors, and technical teams to understand business and technical requirements, driving innovative network solutions.
  • Craft and maintain technical briefings, engineering standards, SOPs, and reports, presenting findings to senior leadership.
  • Contribute to the creation of network architecture, engineering designs, and modifications.
  • Evaluate current and emerging network technologies, providing technical assessments and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across technologies to identify innovation opportunities and enhance system operability.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with 12-15 years of relevant experience, or Master's with 10-13 years.
  • Active DOD TS/SCI clearance, with eligibility for CI Poly.
  • IAT Level II Certification (e.g., CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP).
  • Ability to communicate complex technical topics to a non-technical audience.
  • Proficiency in network services and architecture, including WAN/LAN and VPN.
  • Experience with Cisco, Palo Alto Firewalls, AWS networking, and more.
  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Familiarity with ITIL Foundation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with DISA and supporting mission partners.
  • Expertise in cloud-hosted networks.
  • Master's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field
