JOB DESCRIPTION X8 is looking for a cleared analyst to lead data integration efforts on a dynamic opportunity supporting both USCC and DARPA. X8's Data Integration Analyst will lead data exploration and integration into an emerging USCYBERCOM analytical platform, under development at DARPA. The selected candidate will handle researching, editing, and implementing data integration solutions to meet the operational needs of USCYBERCOM mission teams. The selected candidate will aid the platform development team identify, prioritize, triage and integrate new datasets supporting operational uses. The position is onsite, located in Columbia, Maryland with the opportunity to travel to other Command locations and some remote work.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Serve as the lead data integrator building better system-level interfaces with external data feeds or data aggregators
Evaluate data sets, data feeds, API implementations and repositories for integration into the analytical platform
Collaborate with users to understand their analytical and operational challenges, translate those needs into data integration solutions in collaboration with the development team.
Work with a team of remote and onsite developers, offering technical guidance on data integration efforts
Read and edit JSONs, APIs and light scripting
Monitor, facilitate, and release integration feature deliverables. Troubleshoot issues as they arise
Evaluate and analyze analytical workflows to identify trends, patterns, and insights to support operational mission needs
Evaluate and create new data integration use cases, CONOPs and workflows that support operational mission needs
WHAT REQUIRED SKILLS YOU'LL BRING
Data science, Development, Exploitation Analyst (EA), Target Digital Network Analyst (TDNA), Digital Network Exploitation Analyst (DNEA) experience with USCYBERCOM or its IC partners.
Background in data analysis, database management, APIs and scripting to support the integration of new data sets into the platform
Experience editing JSON, python and/or other light scripting languages as it applies to analysis
Documented track record of successfully managing integration and data base projects
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with other developers
Knowledge and experience working with DoD cyber operations
Experience in networking, technology, and security processes and procedures is highly desirable
Experience with Python, LabBench, XKeyscore, and jupyter notebook are highly desirable
Familiarity with the agile development processes and the Atlassian suite of tools are highly desirable
MINIMUM CLEARANCE REQUIRED
Current and Active Top Secret SCI with CI Poly
COMPENSATION
Pay Range: $160,000 - $220,000 (depending on experience, education)
Up to $5,000 continuing education reimbursement
