Job Description
Work Hours: Full Time. On-site role. The position now supports the shift (12 pm-8 pm) only.

Key Duties:

  • Ensure continuous network availability, performing essential maintenance.
  • Actively identify and resolve potential network issues.
  • Oversee data backup and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Manage and maintain various aspects of computer networks and related environments, including both hardware and software components.
  • Implement and uphold network security protocols to safeguard data and hardware.
  • Manage regular network operations, including startup and shutdown processes, while keeping detailed records.
  • Evaluate network enhancement requests, offering technical recommendations.
Requirements

Educational Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, with a minimum of four years' experience (experience can substitute for education).
Other Requirements:
  • Troubleshooting experience with L3 connections.
  • Demonstrated skill in troubleshooting IT systems.
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and fault isolation of IT business systems
  • Proficiency in configuring Cisco switches and routers.
  • Knowledge of dynamic routing protocols like BGP and OSPF.
  • Familiarity with Spanning Tree Protocol, 802.1x, TCPDUMP/WireShark, and VLAN configurations.
  • Experience troubleshooting and configuring S2S/DMVPN/IPSEC tunnels connection.
  • Competence in network troubleshooting and basic firewall troubleshooting and configuration.
  • Basic knowledge of ISE/TACACs troubleshooting and configuration.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud services.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Previous work experience with DISA and its mission partners is a plus.
  • A TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph is highly advantageous.
