Job SummaryThe ASG Solutions Architect AWS Networking will provide services to our customers to help them define and oversee AWS Networking initiatives. The ASG Solutions Architect is responsible for helping strategize, architect and implement various solutions that support SHI customer s move to AWS. If you join our team, you ll enjoy:Our commitment to diversity, as the largest minority- and woman-owned enterprise in the U.S.Continuous professional growth and leadership opportunities.Health, wellness, and financial benefits to offer peace of mind to you and your family.World-class facilities and the technology you need to thrive in our offices or yours.ResponsibilitiesInclude but not limited to:Design and implement AWS Networking solutions and related technologies including but not limited to, Network Design, Security Architecture, Governance Best Practices and ConnectivityPerform design and implementation work that may include logical design, I/O design, cloud architecture analysis and design, system migration and systems engineeringServe as the technical lead and subject matter expert on projects and workshops, overseeing the work of others and being accountable for the outcome of the projectDevelop technical roadmaps for future cloud implementations on AWSPlan, manage, and troubleshoot Cloud services deploymentPerform PowerShell, python and bash scripting for automation, documentation and standardizationDevelop business case analysis on potential projectEnsure security is integrated into all cloud architecture solutionsAssist sales team in identifying and closing opportunities through customer meetings and presentationsQualificationsMinimum 5 years of technical experience with increasing responsibilityCompleted Bachelor s degree in Computer Engineering or a related fieldDeep understanding of system development in cloud environments, including Software as Service (SaaS), Platform as Service (PaaS), or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).Thorough understanding of Cloud Computing: virtualization technologies, Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service and Software as a Service Cloud delivery models and the current competitive landscapeThorough understanding of infrastructure (firewalls, load balancers, hypervisor, storage, monitoring, security etc.) and have experience with orchestration to develop a cloud solutionExperience migrating workloads or managing workloads in AWSRequired SkillsAbility to demonstrate proficiency with the design, implementation and support of cloud solutions and exhibit strong project management and communication skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational and project management skillsStrong troubleshooting skillsAbility to demonstrate technical capabilities of cloud technologyAbility to work effectively within all levels of an organization, both internally and externallyAbility to work both individually and in a team environmentReceptive listening skills, with ability to present ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiencesExcellent writing skills to produce written reports of recommendations, metrics, project management, process and technical documentationHigh level reading comprehension to examine manuals and technical reports to keep up with advances and implement new technology that meets employers or clients needsCertifications RequiredAWS Certified Advanced Networking SpecialtyAWS Certified Solutions Architect ProfessionalPreferred:Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalentUnique RequirementsTravel to customer sites, up to 10% annuallyAdditional InformationThe estimated annual pay range for this position is $125,000 - $220,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
