COUNSELORS IN THE COMMUNITY VISTA ASSOCIATE

The VISTA project associate team at Counselors in the Community Association-CITCA play a vital role in supporting our mission of empowerment through mental health care access, community partnerships, and outreach initiatives. As a VISTA member, you will have a unique opportunity to engage in a diverse range of activities that drive positive change and create lasting impact. Your responsibilities will encompass various areas, including committee and association engagement, community outreach, resource acquisition, fundraising, and social media/public relations. Requirements: Preferred degree or relevant experience (3-5 years) in social media management, community outreach, partnerships, and fundraising. Must be willing to serve 40 hours/week (2 in-person, 3 remote) from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Mon-Sat and complete Americorps and CITCA requirements prior to orientation. Member Duties : Duties will include a variety depending on the assignment placement and based on member skills and discussions during training. General tasks include: Attract & manage volunteers, facilitate workshops, fundraise, plan events, create social media campaigns, engage with the community online and enhance online presence, build partnerships, collaborate with schools, conduct research, develop program content, and contribute to organizational growth.
