CACI is seeking a System Administrator for a recently awarded 5 year program that delivers a wide set of capabilities across the enterprise to include data management, data delivery, high ingest rate cloud architectures, and analytic platforms.

What You ll Get to Do:

System Administrator Level 2

Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems

Manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems

Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.

Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems

Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers

Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process

Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity, and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance

System Administrator Level 3

Candidate supports a suite of web-based applications that automate data management for IC data custodians. The products facilitate the capture of information and approvals that allow for the movement of data through the customer mission space in a compliant manner. These products are critical to the standardize and simplify data movement as well as data reuse and integration with downstream tools. The TTO is performed out of a contractor facility and offers flexible hours and telework opportunities are actively being pursued.

You ll Bring These Qualifications:

System Administrator Level 2

Provide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems

Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets

Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process

Configure and manage UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance

Ten (10) years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.

Bachelor s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required

Note: Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor s degree

System Administrator Level 3

Provide Systems Engineering support to large-scale systems, major system elements, and/or interfacing systems;

Provide overall system engineering expertise in the architecture, design, development, requirements analysis, data flow, network design and/or implementation, or testing for the program;

Analyze user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architecture to develop system requirements specifications;

Support cloud technology adoption, specifically the adoption of business tools into the cloud architecture;

Guide users in formulating requirements, advise alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies; and

Review and draft white papers and technical marketing and training materials.

Desired Skills:

System Administrator Level 2

Six (6) years of experience (combined) with Unix, Linux

Demonstrated knowledge of analytical needs and requirements, query syntax, data flows, and traffic manipulation.

Security+ and a Redhat certifications.

Ability to meet one of the following two skill sets.

Skill set one: programming skills in C, Perl or Bourne Shell along with experience providing system administration of a database-centric system and knowledge of RDBMS, SQL Server and database security features.

Skill set two: experience administering Solaris, UNIX, LINUX systems, or SQL Server 2000/2005 RDBMS and SGI/HP hardware is required

Skill set three: experience with SaltStalk - optional

System Administrator Level 3

Practical hands-on coding experience

Strong Linux administration w/scripting experience required

Flexible on coding languages and day to day tasking

Experience installing and configuring software applications

Ability to adjust to an ever-changing environment

Basic network understanding

Experience with object-oriented coding to include Perl and Ruby

Experience integrating with configuration management systems (e.g., git)

Experience implementing and managing system monitoring applications (e.g., Nagios)

Experience with automation / deployment packages (e.g., Ansible, Salt, Puppet)

Experience with Virtualized Cloud-based infrastructures (Rackspace, AWS)

Experience maintaining accredited (ATO) systems

Experience implementing and maintaining STE/STN requirements and associated applications (XACTA, LatteArt)

Experience with test driven development

Experience with Confluence & the Atlassian Suite

Experience with test driven development
