The successful candidate will but not be limited to:

  • Maintaining equipment/material handling systems inside Data Centers Racking, stacking and cabling of new hardware using infrastructure lead guidelines and rack elevation documentation.

  • Ensuring the efficient planning, provisioning, installation, configuration, maintenance, and/or operations of the hardware and software infrastructure required to build, validate, and release a wide variety of hardware.

  • Working closely with development and quality teams to derive infrastructure requirements, build, test and tools appropriate to the project, and/or implements and maintains of those systems.

  • Install, configure, and maintain servers and network switches.

  • Manage operational and reliability aspects of the systems, as well as operating system knowledge, including resource management, networking protocol stacks, file systems, and monitoring.

  • Provide decision making, time management, and communication skills.

  • Vendor management including direct supervision of 3rd party service providers.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Minimum Qualifications

The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science or other Engineering related field and 1+ year of experience -OR- a Master's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science or other Engineering related field and:

  • Troubleshooting servers and networking, both hardware and software.

  • Supporting IT or datacenter infrastructure in a production environment.

  • HPC

  • Racking & Stacking

Preferred Qualifications

  • Configure and debug AI accelerators appliances.

  • Network and provide hardware troubleshooting in HPC (High performance computing data center).

  • Debug complex HPC networks.

  • Experience in KVM and container virtualization and network storage systems.

  • Experience working with servers and client systems architecture and platform HW/SW/FW.
