Job description

Position: IT Help Desk, Access Management TS/SCI Cleared with CI Poly Location: Chantilly, VA Job Description: Leffler Consulting is seeking an experienced IT Help Desk Specialist (Access Management) to join our team within an Intelligence Agency in Chantilly. This position is an immediate fill and will reside on-site with the government customer. Duties: Support the IT Help Desk function on a contract Serve as a focal point for information access management through a multitude of special access shared drive folders Since the program is compartmentalized and access is governed by need to know, this position is responsible for the management and execution of the process and the efforts required to ensure proper access is maintained across the program Restructure the shared drive folder system Develop procedures for effectively managing the process going forward Coordinate more complex requests with external IT support groups Additional IT duties will be assigned as necessary depending on individual skill sets. Required Qualifications: Active TS/SCI security clearance Must have a CI polygraph Bachelors degree in a technical discipline Minimum of 2 years of experience in PC/Exchange based systems administrationDemonstrated ability to work effectively at all levels in an organizationExcellent communication skills (oral and written)Experience working with customers and providing detailed and unbiased guidance and recommendationsAbility to work independentlyStrong time management and organizational skillsDesired QualificationsBachelors degree in IT/Computer Engineering or related technical field Familiarity with managing MS Exchange security groups and e-mail distribution groupsUnderstanding of IT Governance and best practicesKnowledge of IT security principlesITIL v3/v4 foundation certification preferredSecurity+ CE.
