We are seeking a dynamic Application Administrator who has the ability to work in a fast paced
environment across a number of SaaS applications. Our Application Administrator will possess the
know-how to operate and maintain existing solutions while also supporting new configurations to meet
evolving business needs. The Application Administrator provides domain proficiency, broad
competency, and advanced technical support in application administration. Provides analysis and
assessment, and recommends application technology solutions.
Reports to: IT Manager of Support and Application Services
Key Responsibilities
Provides Tier 1 and 2 support as appropriate;
Manages Working America s application lifecycle management and roadmapping process;
Serves as a connector between departments, understanding the business needs, and ensures that
solutions align with the organization's strategic goals and objectives;
Manages and implements change management process for application related changes in
coordination with business stakeholder;
In-depth technical knowledge and the ability to design and support information technology
services in a multi-tiered environment;
Identifies and resolves system errors. Consults with functional users to resolve problems related
to software applications;
Writes scripts and/or basic programs to assist with managing applications;
Manages and coordinates the new software evaluation process;
Develops procedures, techniques, or programs to analyze or improve the performance and
efficiency of software and hardware systems;
Documents modifications made to the hardware, software, or procedures related to the systems;
Works with vendors and management to develop or enhance applications;
Works with technical and functional staff to resolve system integration issues;
Carries out larger technical tasks with minimal assistance, and writes summaries of technical
project work;
Responds to inquiries from other departments and collaborates with external departments.
Documents all technical work in user guides for future reference;
Develops plans and processes to ensure the availability of services or systems;
Collaborates with senior technical personnel in the installation, upgrade, and maintenance of
application systems;
Uses standard diagnostic techniques to analyze, identify, and solve problems;
Plans application implementations and upgrades;
Contributes to technical projects as part of a cross functional team;
Ability to respect diversity and work collaboratively with individuals of diverse cultural, social
and educational backgrounds;

Qualifications
Associates degree and 5+ years of experience in application and systems management OR
Bachelor s degree and 2+ years of related experience.
Experience with a variety of operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and macOS.
Familiarity with managing cyber security event management and response.
Experience with PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
Experience with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell is a plus.
Experience with implementing webhooks.
Experience with ITIL foundations with a strong emphasis on event management / monitoring.
Experience with cloud computing technologies is a plus.
Experience with BetterStack or similar observability platform is preferred.
Experience working with Monday.com and/or Quickbase strongly preferred.
Experience with NGP VAN or NationBuilder or Mobilize is strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
Proven ability to lead and manage a team.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Detail-oriented and organized.
Ability to respect diversity and work collaboratively with individuals of diverse cultural, social

Starting salary is $73,405. Includes medical insurance and 401(k) with employer contribution.
