Job Description
We are seeking a Web Developer to support our government client in Herndon, VA. In this full-time role, you will leverage your skills to enhance user experiences and create technical solutions that adhere to accessibility standards within an agile framework.

Requirements

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience implementing user experience design best practices, aligning with accessibility standards and agile methodology.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop solutions that streamline end-to-end processes, enhance automation, and integrate advanced analytics.
  • Collaboration experience with Java and ServiceNow developers to translate material design into front-end components, including the use of technologies like Angular and React.
  • Proficiency with UX/UI technologies, including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe XD, Bootstrap, CSS3, and HTML5.
  • Track record of proposing solutions that offer business value, align with customer goals, and emphasize UX/UI improvement, operational efficiency, quality, and accelerated delivery. This involves the modernization of web-based applications, systems, and service components.
  • Experience in analyzing and documenting web-based applications, system components, and service interfaces, including databases and web services/APIs, to support informed decision-making for future development.
Highly Desired Skills and Experience:
  • While not mandatory, the following skills and experiences are highly valued:
  • Collaborative work with Sponsor and partner IT organizations.
  • Involvement with learning applications.
  • Exposure to language, compliance, and performance management applications.
  • Familiarity with Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies.
  • Understanding of networking and platform hosting technologies.
