Overview:

The Security Infrastructure Engineer supports the design and implementation of security measures in both on-premise and AWS cloud environments. This role focuses on supporting the senior team members in managing security infrastructure and continuous diagnostic and mitigation efforts.Responsibilities:Task Area 4.1.7 Continuous Diagnostic and Mitigation:

Assist in providing technical support for systems, tools, and users, focusing on configuration management, vulnerability management, and incident management.Contribute to the deployment and management of centralized logging and SIEM as part of the Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) implementation efforts.Participate in evaluating and assisting in the implementation of security solutions, particularly supporting the subtask on network security and patch management.Subtask 4.2.8 Network Security and Patch Management:

Actively support the routine patching of all servers and desktops, maintain Anti-Virus and Anti-Malware on all hosts, and operate and maintain whitelist/blacklist solutions for application protection.Task Area 2 Infrastructure and Cloud Engineering Support:

Must possess an undergraduate degree in a relevant technical field.A minimum of 3 years of experience in security infrastructure roles.Junior cybersecurity certification (Security+ or similar) required.Familiarity with tools such as Splunk, Forescout, and Archer.Must possess or be able to obtain a Tier 2 Public Trust clearance.Experience with or knowledge of security solutions applicable to both on-premise and AWS cloud environments.Tools and Technologies:

Experienced in using security tools like Splunk, Forescout, and Archer for managing security events and compliance.Knowledgeable in security solutions that ensure robust security across both on-premise and AWS cloud platforms.Work Hours:

Standard work hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays.
