Job description

Overview

As a

Software

Engineer,

you will work with our growing

DevSecOps

practice developing APIs and integration capabilities to connect data, services, and systems to help our customers achieve their mission. We are looking for candidates with experience with cloud platform services, understanding business requirements and

implement

complex integrations.

Contributions

Responsibilities include:Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developersTesting and examining code written by others and analyzing resultsEnsure that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats

Identify

technical problems, perform root cause analysis, and develop software updates and fixesDevelop APIs and integrations using a broad range of software programming tasks to ensure that their systems integrations are functional.Create and provide technical documentation that explains upcoming or existing integrations to non-technical individualsDocument as-is state of the environment, perform a gap analysis, and produce artifacts that articulate options and recommendationsAct as an individual contributor and mentor more junior team membersEngineer and implement solutions and provide recommendations for continuous improvement for the services providedPresent regular status updates and provide cross training to other team members.

Qualifications

Required:Ability to obtain a U.S. government Security ClearanceU.S. citizenBS Degree in an IT field OR BS in a non-IT field and 2 years related IT experience3 Years of Experience with one or more clouds (

i.e.

AWS, Azure, or GCP)3 Years of Experience with Git SCM providers such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket3 Years of Experience with one or more programming or scripting languages3 Years of Experience with one or more integration technologies, such as

MulesoftPreferred:3 Years of application development experience in an Agile environmentExperience implementing docker containers and

utilizing

platforms such as KubernetesExperience designing, implementing, and documenting APIsExperience

utilizing

CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Pipelines,

CircleCI

,

TravisCIExperience implementing Automated Testing frameworks to test APIs and integrationsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative

skil

lCertifications: AWS Cloud Practitioner; AWS Solution Architect; Azure Developer Associate; Mulesoft Certified Developer Level 2
