OVERVIEW

iTech AG is seeking an experienced business development person to lead federal business development efforts. We desire an energetic self-starter who can successfully promote our offerings and solutions, win competitive pursuits and position iTech AG as the industry leader it is in this space. This position is based in the DC Metro area. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of both winning and delivering IT and strategic consulting services to Federal agencies and will conduct the duties listed below in support of account and company goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Grow iTech's Integration Services Portfolio by leveraging existing relationships-and identifying new areas for potential clients.
  • Develop new sales areas and improve sales through various methods.
  • Research the latest in the business industry and create new opportunities to expand business.
  • Monitor opportunities daily on portals for GWACS such as GSA MAS, OASIS, HCATS, eFAST, SEAPORTNXG, STARSIII, and others) for new opportunities, market research, updates, amendments, or announcements.
  • Managing RFI/RFP solicitations and agency forecasts, and maintaining an awareness of the competitive landscape
  • Lead capture for complex and technical bids, including identifying and comprehending clients' requirements and buying patterns, developing complex technical solution options, and building a cost-competitive industry team that can deliver client impact through a winning bid.
  • Drive market-based competitive intelligence, market assessments, client assessments, and strategic planning efforts in support of expanding specific client-based opportunity portfolios and pipelines.
  • Compete in both incumbent and non-incumbent workstreams, think critically, and strategically strengthen the competitive posture of the firm.
  • Attend industry events and meet with clients to understand current and emerging customer needs and requirements.
  • Monitor sales progress to ensure that corporate goals are being met.
  • Demonstrate positive client relationships and a record of success in leveraging these relationships for opportunity wins.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5+ years of experience tracking or building a pipeline for Federal RFPs, RFQs, etc.
  • 3+ years of experience in the direct management of complex solutions and development capture efforts in integration services sales.
  • Solid understanding of the customer needs for the Market and specific experience with key client organizations.
  • Experience in a federal sales and analysis environment.
  • Contain a highly robust network of colleagues and customers in the federal market/integration services space.
  • Communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Experience with successful execution of all phases of a large and multi-year capture effort, including strategic planning, teaming, proposals, market, or competitive and price-to-win analyses.
  • Experience with business development through the entire business development cycle through contract award.
  • Knowledge of the US government's acquisition process
  • Demonstrated experience engaging with C-suite level executives and working with cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating, collaborating, and leading without oversight.
  • Strong business and technical acumen
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated strong cultural fit and values aligned with iTech AG core values.
  • Ability to manage a quota and leadership expectations.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
  • BS/BA in a related field is required.
  • MS/MA or demonstrated experience in Program Management, Information Systems, Communications or related field preferred.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience using Agile to implement projects within a federal government environment.

CLEARANCE
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government-issued clearance if required.
  • Pursuant to government contracts, this position requires U.S. Citizenship.
