MyStudio is a software-as-a-service suite of products that gives fitness, martial arts, and other membership-based business studio owners the freedom that comes from automating and simplifying how customers buy from them making them more money at all hours of the day, saving them money, and granting them more time.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our development team, you will play a critical role in architecting, designing, and implementing scalable and reliable software solutions to enhance our SaaS platform.

This is an on-site position to work in our office in Fairfax, Virginia.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy of high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements and exceed performance expectations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner to ensure smooth operation of the platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, design, and quality assurance to deliver features on time and with superior quality.
• Drive technical innovation and excellence by researching and implementing new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies.
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and provide technical guidance to ensure best practices and high coding standards are maintained.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the evolution of our software architecture to support future growth and scalability.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve our development processes and methodologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, with a proven track record of designing and delivering scalable SaaS applications.
• Proficiency in PHP, Java, and/or Angular.js.
• Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Comfortable troubleshooting and resolving bugs
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• A passion for learning and staying updated on the latest technologies and trends in software development.

Work Environment

This is an in-office position based in Fairfax, VA, a suburb of Washington, DC. Unfortunately, we are currently unable to consider applicants who live outside commuting distance to Fairfax.
