Sughrue Mion, PLLC a leading Intellectual Property law firm located in Washington, DC is searching for an experienced Trademark Associate. This position will assist trademark partners in trademark prosecution and other legal work involving prosecution, monitoring and maintenance of domestic and worldwide portfolios.

Essential Functions:

• Provide strategic trademark counseling to client s including clearances, prosecution, and licensing
• Application preparation
• Litigation support
• Overseeing domestic and international outside counsel
• Minimum 2 to 3 years' experience in trademark procurement work, both domestic and international, including clearance work, application preparation and prosecution
• Experience in trademark litigation support
• Must be an excellent team player and possess superior skills in written and verbal communication
• Top academic background and current DC bar membership in good standing required.

This position is located in the Washington, DC office which is operating in a hybrid mode with in-house and remote options.
