Our technology nucleus of advanced AI, flight and sensor modelling enables us to augment reality through the lens of next-generation products and services.Position SummaryMetrea Simulations is looking for a Technical Site Support Specialist to come join our US team and help us build/manage the hardware side of our operations state side. This entails sourcing and structuring of COTS components for various flight simulation setups such a simulation rigs etc., overseeing inventory as well as on-site deployment for our US customers. We strive to push the boundaries of what's possible in simulation and you will work closely together with our artists, programmers and domain experts (e.g. fighter pilots) in doing so. Furthermore, this will be a customer facing role where you get the chance to directly interact with customer stakeholders such as fighter pilots and program managers within the air force.Role & Responsibilities* Act as the lead for all hardware and operational requirements from customers and business units* Work closely with internal software developers to build solutions based on customer requirements* Document customer feedback and communicate this effectively with internal stakeholders* Provide onsite technical support for nationally based aerospace customers* Manage existing and source new inventory as required* Work with internal teams to coordinate all storage and transportation to support customer demonstrations/set up* Maintain the reliability and performance of all assetsKey Skills & Experience* Experience working in a technical, customer facing role* A high sense of self-motivation and initiative* Competency in installation and support of IT hardware and simulation rigs* Desire to provide a high quality customer service with excellent attention to detail* Strong administrative and organizational skills* Problem-solving skills* Service mindedBonus Points* A passion for anything aerospace related* A love for military themed games and simulations* Experience from the video game industryPosition Type and Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position with typical working hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Hours and work shifts may change in accordance with department and business needs. Exempt Employees must have the ability to be on-call and available, as business needs require.
