Essential Functions Responsible for the overall success of scheduling of all events Manage labor costs and other budgetary parameters. Provide accurate and timely reporting to the Director of Protocol, General Manager, and Vice President. Implement & maintain the set SOPs for scheduling staff and daily operations of the Department. Serve as the only point of contact between the Protocol department and Sales team ensuring accurate staffing level attained according to the set budget for each event. Train and develop on a timely basis the scheduling coordinators to schedule one week out at a minimum all events are handed over by the Director of Protocol. Solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals. Motivate and discipline staff after consulting 'where applicable 'with the Director of Protocol. Support department-level human resources responsibilities including record keeping, compliance, training, hiring, and firing, and conflict resolution, event staffing, onsite training, VIP. Requirements, security & badging Support and oversee the recruiting and onboarding efforts. Use a data-driven approach to achieve hiring goals. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of captains, Servers, Bartenders, Maintenance, and Maintenance Leads to ensure team members can provide the highest level of hospitality. Visit event sites as directed by the Director of protocol for quality control and standards assessments such as monthly audits and secret shopper's program. Database maintenance and deep-rooted knowledge of the inner workings tasks of CaterXpert is a must. Competencies Excellent verbal, listening, and written communication skills. Ability to utilize multiple programs and platforms such as CaterXpert, Microsoft Office. Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking, and time management abilities. Ability to work in a team environment and to collaborate with a variety of personnel. Strategic & Operations Planning and Project Management. Conflict Identification, Team Management, and Staff Performance Assessment. Quality Assurance focus. Comfortable delivering frequent direct written and oral feedback.
